This site is still under construction (the plumber's pipes always leak).
In the meantime, you can still gather some information about my services and business practices.

Considering Investing in a Website for your Business?

Did You know that...
  • You DO NOT need a computer or even an email address to take advantage of the commercial exposure that a website can give your business!!  And even for selling on-line, phone numbers, fax numbers, and "snail mail" are still being used by the majority of consumers, so don't think your lack of computer-savvy should keep you out of the economic boom of the internet.
  • You DO NOT have to pay exorbitant amounts for a well-functioning, good looking web site. (But you can if you want to).  I keep my prices very reasonable on a competitive basis.  I would prefer that my prospective customers "shop around" first, so they will be content knowing I am giving them the most for their money.  I have known a lot of clients who got "burned" on their first experience in the website marketplace, and I would prefer to see my customers consider their website investment both a worthwhile and stress-free endeavor, with no hidden costs.
  • You DO NOT have to be locked in to a yearly contract, as is the case with a Yellow Pages ad, or some web hosting companies.  If you don't already have a hosting company in mind, I DO!  I encourage my customers to host their sites with InfoQuest.  This company is a well established, highly professional host, offering very reasonable pricing for a wealth of features, and allowing billing on a monthly basis with the advantage of "pre-pay" discounts.  Mostly though, I prefer dealing with them because they are there when you need them, in a friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable way.  More than I can say for some of the other hosting companies I have dealt with!
  • You DO NOT have to accept credit cards to take advantage of on-line selling or shopping cart features!  I can set up a simple purchase form, or a whole shopping cart that will allow you to accept checks or money orders, rather than credit cards, for your customer's orders.  Of course, the option is still there for you to accept credit cards, and even have them processed in "real-time" on-line.  (Be it known though, that the fees for that service can be costly.) The choice can be yours.

A Word from Jill...
My goal is to provide my customers with a professional looking web presence at an economical cost.

Keeping in mind that the whole idea of a commercial website is basically to advertise and/or sell whatever you, the merchant has to offer, my philosophy on web design is to emphasize a fast loading site with easy navigation, and important information readily available to the consumer.  "Bells and whistles" are always an option, but productivity and effectiveness should be the main desire in the end product.

I like to spend time with prospective clients, whether in person or on the phone, discussing all aspects of the web design and hosting procedures, so that there are never any hidden or unexpected costs. This is also a good way to insure that the client has clearly conveyed his needs and wants, and is comfortable knowing that his website will live up to expectations.

I do my work from my home office, so my hours aren't always restricted to an 8 hour day, or a 5 day week.  I have been involved in creating web sites and doing graphic design for 4 years now, and I am constantly trying to keep up with the newest technology so my clients can benefit from it.
